About the Programme

  1. This programme is offered as a class-room based hospitality training course specifically designed for people employed in roles such as a House Keeper or a Room Attendant.

 

  1. Upon successfully completing the class-room based training and practical assessment, the candidate will automatically receive the City & Guilds International Certificate.  All course fees must be paid before the start of Practical Assessment. Assessments are subject to internal and external verification.

Exams & Assessments

  • Year 1 Portfolio Assessment – IIRQ Certification

   Continuous Internal Assessment by Tutor

  • Year 2 Level 2 City and Guilds External set and marked Examination Papers

   Portfolio Assessment

 

  • Candidates will be required to successfully complete All Units to a satisfactory and appropriate standard. All Assessment are subject to Internal and External Verification.

 

 

Entry Requirements

Whilst there are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking these qualifications, candidates will be required to have a reasonable level of Communication and Numerical Skills in order to complete the assessment requirements. Applicants may be subjected to sit a Diagnostic Mathematics and English Test, if they do not possess passes in any previous exams.

Duration

The duration of this programme is 10 weeks.
